Session 1: Starting Out
Creating a Quality Proficient Teacher Submission
Developed for recent graduates and returning teachers, this workshop provides a thorough understanding of how to create a quality Proficient Teacher accreditation submission. Teachers will develop their capacity to identify a range of evidence to demonstrate the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers, including practical exercises to gain first-hand experience and confidence when producing annotations.
Session 2: Affirming & Maintaining
Proficient Teacher Introduction for Existing Teachers
This workshop aims to give existing teachers a positive and affirming introduction to the Proficient Teacher Standards. Teachers will consider their current practice in reference to the NESA Proficient Teacher Support Document- Examples of Practice at Proficient Teacher, and feel informed and confident about what is required to maintain their accreditation.
